1. Data Storage

By default, your alarms, wake history, custom sounds, and personal goals are stored locally on your device. If you sign in with Apple or Google, your data is also synced to our secure cloud servers (powered by Supabase) so you can back up and restore your data across devices. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

2. Notifications

Orlo uses local notifications to ring your alarms. Alarm times are calculated and stored on your device. No data about when you wake up is sent across the internet.

3. Camera & Microphone Access

Certain wake-up missions may request access to your device's Camera (e.g., photographing the sky or your made bed) or Microphone (e.g., reading a verse aloud). These permissions are used exclusively in the moment to complete the mission. Orlo does not record, save, or transmit any audio or visual data captured during these missions.

4. Third-Party Services

Orlo uses the following third-party services:

  • Authentication: Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In to create and manage your account. We receive only your name and email address.
  • Cloud Storage: Supabase securely stores your synced data (alarms, wake history, settings, and custom sounds) when you are signed in.
  • Subscriptions: RevenueCat processes in-app purchases and manages subscription status. RevenueCat receives purchase transaction data from the App Store but does not receive your personal alarm data.

Orlo does not include any advertising SDKs or third-party analytics trackers.

5. Data Deletion

If you are not signed in, all your data lives only on your device and deleting the Orlo app will permanently erase it. If you are signed in, your data is also stored on our servers. You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time by going to Settings > Profile > Delete Account. You can also manually reset local data in the Settings menu.
